Description

Be sure to smile, the Akata Documentary cameras will be rolling.

We cordially invite you to our fundraising event on Friday, July 28, at 7:30 pm.

Our guests will be the FIRST to view the premiere of our official movie trailer before it is released to the public. You will dine on American and African cuisine, enjoy music, purchase raffle tickets, take home free giveaways and so much more. We are asking everyone to come dressed in fabulous African wear. Don’t have any, cocktail attire is best. We do have a limited capacity, so please RSVP as soon as possible.

We recently launched our GoFundMe campaign to crowdsource the funds to complete the film. We are finally ready to shoot our last segment of the film, in West Africa, but we need your help. If you are led to please consider donating before the event if not there will be plenty of ways to donate at the event.

Cheers!
